La Geria
Is an area of the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands (Spain), known for the production of wine.
Yes, in Lanzarote they produce wine and what a wine the Malvasia variety abounds in.
But how is wine produced in this volcanic landscape?
The vines are planted in cones obtained from the lapilli, locally called picón, and also protected by dry stone walls. Fruit trees, such as figs, are also planted in the same way.
This type of planting allows the plants to root more easily in the fertile soil, while the upper layer of lapilli reduces evapotranspiration. Furthermore, the shape of the holes and the additional wall protect the crops from the wind. You can find numerous cellars in Geria as well as tours that accompany you on the wine journey through tradition, culture and tasting.

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Opera.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but
I figured I’d post to let you know. The style
and design look great though! Hope you get the problem resolved
soon. Thanks https://zaraco.shop
